A speech-language pathologist is a trained professional who can help your child with several communication disorders in the areas of:

  • Fluency
  • Voice
    An SLP’s role is to:
  •  Assess the communication strengths and weaknesses
  • Diagnose the communication deficits
  • Develop a plan to help treat the disorder 
  • Meet communication needs.
