The Griffin-Spalding School System is a recipient of federal Elementary & Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Grants known as ESSER III/CARES III Funds. The purpose of these funds is to implement and provide activities to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic including its impact on the social, emotional, mental health, and academic needs of students.  In consultation with our community stakeholders which includes students, parents, teachers, and community organizations, we have developed our district's American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act ESSER III District Application which reflects the contents to meet the intent of the grant funds to serve our students in efforts to help them reach their academic goals.
