Welcome to Griffin-Spalding County’s Career, Technical & Agricultural Education website.  CTAE is preparing our students for their next step after high school – whether it’s beginning a career, attending a technical or university college, registered apprenticeships or military training. CTAE pathway course offerings leverage partnerships with higher education and Business & Industry to ensure students have the skills they need to thrive in the future workforce.  The Griffin-Spalding County School system offers students more than 20 career pathways which they can earn industry credentials to prepare them for a career.

In addition to our middle and high school CTAE pathways, our school system has partnered with Southern Crescent Technical College to further align CTAE programs at the Griffin Region College & Career Academy with the need for skilled personnel for our local Business & Industry partners. This partnership enables our students to earn college credit while in high school; obtain 21st century skills, as well as earn technical certificates of credit. I am excited about the growth and opportunities that Career, Technical & Agricultural Education has to offer our community as we prepare college and career ready graduates.  As you navigate through the site you’ll see how CTAE is providing guidance and skills to all students within our educational community. Thank you for your interest in CTAE and I wish each and every one of you the best for this school year.

Sincerely,

Dr. Laura Ergle
