GSCS Header Nutrition
Anne Street, Atkinson, and Moore, participate in Special Provision 2 of the National School Lunch Program.  This allows all students attending those schools to have breakfast and lunch at no cost regardless of income.  Since these schools are non-base year schools, students are NOT required to complete a free-reduced meal application to receive breakfast or lunch at no cost as long as they are enrolled at one of these school sites.

If your child withdraws from Anne Street, Atkinson, or Moore and enrolls in another school in the Griffin-Spalding County School System, their meal status becomes FULL PAY STATUS on the 10th day of enrollment at the new school site.

At the time of enrolling in the new school, Parents should complete a free and reduced meal application. This may allow your child to be approved for benefits to continue to receive meals at no or reduced cost. We recommend that all parents complete a meal application when you complete the transfer process for your child. The quickest and most convenient way to apply for free/reduced cost meals is online.  The link to the online website is:

If you require help with the application process, please ask the school nutrition manager or school secretary.  Paper applications are available at all schools.
