SECOND GRADE

  Second grade students are working hard to prepare for the upcoming Student Learning Objective (SLO) Assessments. This assessment is going to show how much they have learned this year and we are eager to see the progress they have made since the assessment given at the beginning of the year. We are working on a math unit covering multiplication and division, which included arrays, skip counting and repeated addition. You should have recently received a permission slip for our next fieldtrip. We plan on going to Zoo Atlanta on May 3^rd and it will cost each child $10. Please send that in as soon as possible. Don’t forget to help your child with his/her homework every night and also sign the agenda daily.
