High School Instructional Program Griffin-Spalding County high school students are prepared for life after graduation through a variety of challenging instructional programs and co-curricular activities. Students have the opportunity to experience a rigorous curriculum provided through quality standards-based instruction, Advanced Placement courses, and dual enrollment. Academic and elective courses provide a focus on educational and career interests.

Students must complete graduation requirements for courses, numbers of credit hours, and attendance as well as passing all 5 portions of the Georgia High School Graduation Test in order to receive a high school diploma. Students also must take End-of-Course Tests in Math I, Math II, Algebra, Geometry, English 9, American Literature, Physical Science, Biology, U.S. History and Economics. EOCT counts as 15% of a student's final grade in a course. Support and enrichment opportunities are provided to struggling and high ability learners.
