Attendance Zones The Board of Education approved the current middle school zone map, which was recommended by the School Attendance Zoning Committee, on April 12, 2005. The new middle school zone lines were proposed in preparation for the planned opening of one new middle school in the school year 2006-2007, and two more in later years. The schools will range in size from 412 students to 688 students and diversity will be moderately balanced middle schools. The feeder elementary schools for the middle schools are:
The zoning process took into account population growth trends; the proximity of elementary feeder schools; bus transportation; building capacities; diversity percentages; parent feedback; and teacher/student ratios. |
