A dental program was established on September 10, 2001, in cooperation with the Spalding County Health Department. The program offers dental screenings at each school, and follow-up actions will take place with each child screened. The clinic is housed at the Spalding County Health Department and is open five days a week. They are able to bill Medicaid and Peachcare for Kids for services.
All children are able to participate in this program and no child will be denied services on the basis of financial difficulties. If you are interested in this program, please contact the school nurse assigned to your school.
Other Screenings Offered:
Eye glasses (through school social workers)
