Accelerated Reader is a computerized reading program where students read books or have books read to them.  Then they take a test on the computer and earn points.  Students will be recognized on Orrs TV for a specific number of points and will receive other incentives. 

Our goal this year is the make "MASTER SCHOOL." You can help by reading to your child every night!!!!

Incentives

In order to receive prizes or invitations to parties, our students must have an 85% accuracy or higher unless they are served by a resource teacher in reading.  Then they must have an 82% accuracy or higher.  Last year we had 16 GRAND PRIZES awarded at the end of the school year.

Cheating is not acceptable!  Cheating consists of taking tests for others, telling others answers, opening books while taking tests, and anything else teachers deem as cheating.
