Style Guide For Employees

Have you ever wondered how to present Information or Action Items at a board of education meeting? When should you use ParentLink? What is your school's code for Georgia Department of Education purposes?

Our Griffin-Spalding Style Guide should give you these answers and more.

We know there are multiple ways of presenting information. However, we also know consistency promotes professionalism and takes the guesswork out of the process. This Style Guide gives models that we have found to work well in most situations.

It covers topics such as procedures for board of education meetings, school councils, Partners in Education, and more. It also covers technical aspects of information sharing, such as best practices for Parentlink, email, PowerPoint, and telephone usage. These best practices came from a variety of legitimate sources including the National School Public Relations Association and other professional resources.

We hope this takes the guesswork out of your projects. Please feel free to send suggestions for other needed topics.
