Dr. Norman C. Sauce III is the Executive Director of Elementary Education. Dr. Sauce supervises all elementary principals within the Griffin-Spalding County School System and supports their efforts to lead their schools with excellence. He also supervises the school system's Coordinator for Pre-K and ESOL, and the Gifted Education Program. He earned his Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California (2009), Master of Education from the University of California Los Angeles (2002), and Bachelor of Arts in History from California State University Long Beach (2000). He joined the Griffin-Spalding County School System in 2017. He previously served as principal of Chamblee Charter High School in the DeKalb County School District. Prior to that he served as principal of Barnwell Elementary School, and assistant principal of Roswell High School, both in the Fulton County School District. Before moving to Georgia, he served as a social studies teacher and assistant principal at schools in his native Southern California. Dr. Sauce is the proud husband and father to his wife and twin boys.
